Double-cast

Double casts or alternate actors were used mainly in the first season of TeniMyu. They were used similarly to alternate casts like Hyotei Band Rikkai B: for the sake of occasions in which performance dates were too extensive for the health of the production's cast or if actors needed time off to pursue other activities, alternates were used instead of the original actors.

As said, those are generally the reasons for double-casting, notably one situation that differs from this is Yanagi Kotaro's accident side-effects that subjected him to restricted movements. Endo Yuya was brought as TeniMyu's first alternate for this case, the only difference is that he appeared for musical scenes while Yanagi appeared in the others.
